Delete your OwnHour account

Last updated 24 July 2026.

Fastest option: delete it in the app

If you can still open OwnHour on the phone that uses the account, sign in and delete the account there. This removes the server-side account data tied to your OwnHour sign-in.

  1. Open OwnHour on your phone.
  2. Go to Account.
  3. Choose delete account and confirm the request.

If your protection mode guards destructive changes, that same guard applies here too.

Can't reach the app?

Email admin@ownhour.app and ask for account deletion. Send it from the email address on the account — deleting is permanent, so we confirm every request through that address before erasing anything. It is the same proof signing in asks for.

If that inbox is gone too, we have no way to confirm the account is yours. Write anyway and include what you can — a Google Play order number if you bought Pro, the phone you used, roughly when you signed up — but we may not be able to proceed. We would rather leave an account standing than erase someone else's.

If that button does nothing, this device has no email app set up for it. Write to the address below from any mail account instead — nothing is lost by doing it by hand.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes the server-side data OwnHour keeps for that account, including:

This does not remotely erase data already stored on your phone. To clear rules, local insights, and local block history from the device itself, use Delete local data & reset protection inside the app or remove the app from the device.
